I was thinking it looked kinda like a gas action..

soundguy

I think Bronson has a Wildey.

The Wildey has a wide range of barrel options, as it is interchangeable via a chuck. Wildeys factory barrels run from 5", 6", 7", 8", 10", 12", 14" up to a unique 18" barrel (see picture in specification box) with prices ranging from $1,500 (standard 5" barrel) to $3,000 (carbine). According to Wildey F.A Inc., the most popular barrel length is the 10" that appeared in Death Wish 3 (see the last picture). Wildey's marketing describes it as four guns rolled into one. This is made possible by modifying the gun for different purposes.

PPS Owners Forum

How do you compare them (the 9 and 40), I've done a little research today, just wish they had a little more capacity. but still even with the same cap as the PPK I'm gonna swap for at least the 9mm. already have 2 .40's

The big issue seems to be availability, my local shop had only 1 .40
seems everyone who reviewed them thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread. Rarely seen such across the board positive feedback.
JB.

Well see the capacity is the rub, to be that thin requires a single stack mag. I use the mid capacity mags in both of mine and keep the short mags as spares/backups. You probably already know the mags come in 3 lengths, each one adding a round.
Found some innocent looking little camera cases at WalMart with belt loops, the PPS's along with 2 spare mags, hide in them quite well;)

I like both the 40 and the 9, tough call if I had to give one up, more power/one less round, tastes great/less filling.....:)

I was sent this today and thought you guys might want to catch up on some history. This is exactly why the 2A is critical to maintaining our freedom.

A Little on Gun Control History
In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and
exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million 'educated' people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300
percent. Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the
criminals did not, and criminals still possess their guns!
It will never happen here? I bet the Aussies said that too!
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the ELDERLY. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in successfully ridding Australia n society of guns. The Australian experience and the other historical facts above prove it.
You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians
disseminating this information.
Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!
The next time someone talks in favor of gun control, please remind him of this history lesson.

During WWII the Japanese decided not to invade America because they knew most Americans were ARMED!
Note: Admiral Yamamoto who crafted the attack on Pearl Harborhad attended Harvard U 1919-1921 & was Naval Attach to the U. S. 1925-28. Most of our Navy was destroyed at Pearl Harbor & our Army had bee n deprived of funding & was ill prepared to defend the country.

It was reported that when asked why Japan did not Follow thePearl Harbor attack with an invasion of the U. S. Mainland, his reply was that he had lived in the U. S. & knew that almost all households had guns.

With Guns....... .. ....We Are 'Citizens'. Without Them....... We Are 'Subjects'.

Anyone here got a ppk ppks ?

ya like?

I've got an off shoot brand of the ppk. Can't think if the brand and what they call it. It has a little longer barrel but still in .380.

It's my carry weapon. I like it.

I always thought James Bond guns looked weenie. Take these two photos as examples...

C'mon Moss, you can't be serious.

Bronson is cool, but Bond is cool and suave. Bond always had the best gadgets, spoke several languages, traveled the world, knew how to fly everything, disarm anything, and always had the prettiest women (with some of the best names).

He also always hit his target with whatever weapon he was using.

Put me down in the "would rather be Bond than Bronson" category.:D

I believe the latest bond woman was strawberry fields.

I've got to admit, I've never heard that one before;)

I believe the latest bond woman was strawberry fields.

You've got to be kidding me, right?

What I'm curious about is how the heck they got away with Miss Galore's name in "Goldfinger" in 1964!

bond is a sissy......

i'll take clint eastwood from any of the spaghetti westerns.........you saw what happened to the cultured, worldly, educated man......pushin' up daisies!:D

the other post:
yeah, it's amazing how people that absolutely HATE, with vengeance, guns completely ignore the freedoms that guns protect.......the logic defies me!

My, my, Flathead.....

I'll give you that Eastwood was (and still is) great, and those movies were among the best ever made. But let's get real. Comparing Eastwood to Bond is like comparing an old Ford pickup to a new Ferrari. They both have their roles, but when all is said and done I'd rather be cruising the highway in the sports car.

This may be the making of a future thread ...who do you think is the coolest movie character (other than Shrek). :D

We now return to our regular thread already in progress, but well off the path....:D
