BX 24 Bucket Forks

   / BX 24 Bucket Forks #11
I made a set of forks for my BX24 from .25 x 2" square tubing. The welded area has .25 plate on each side to serve as a doubler and form the pocket for the bucket blade. I use binders to hold the forks onto the bucket and distribute part of the load with the top of the bucket.

I have moved a pallet with 720 lbs of cement with this rig. However, the weight distribution was very marginal.

The upright members make the unit excellent for use as a sawhorse in cutting firewood. I could not do without these jewels.

Nice looking.....How long are the forks?

Hi all,

I have a little tiny tractor at home too. It's not a name brand, but only has a lifting capacity of about 400 pounds. I was trying to find a light weight solution and stumbled across Silver Lake Fabrication's web site on Google, silverlakefabrication.com. I use their 500 pound capacity clamp on bucket forks and have no complaints what so ever. They asked for 4 specs from my bucket after emailing me a diagram, and built my forks to those specs. They only weigh about 30 pounds each and hook up really fast. I was scared that clamp on forks would swap around, but these simply don't. I've got a buddy that bought a big set of forks too. He's as happy as I am. They're well worth checking out.
