massey gc 2400 3pt hydro lift question

Hi to anyone out there that may be able to help?
just taken delivery of a new masey gc2400 .. fitted with a fel and mid mount deck.
all works fine ... except that the rear hydro arms have no real lifting strength.When the lever to lift is activated it can barely lift my own weight . I weigh 180lbs. I have opened up the dropp rate valve and it still makes no diffrence to increasing the lifting strength .There is plenty of power at the fel.. and the 3pt arms go up and down ok, but no real lifting strength.
Is there anything I should look at ?

Your 2400 and my 2300 probably have the same hydro unit and mine could easily lift several hundred lbs which the most I ever tried to lift with it. It did it easily and very quickly.

Hi ..Thanks for your interest and sorry a little slow in responce. I Checked out with the dealer who supplied it... Problem solved.. Dealer fitted me with extra aux valves which are operated from a lever under the seat... I did not realise that this lever is used to boost the power to the hitch lift.. We now have lift off !! and all works well. Kinda strange they way it was plumbed up, but works well. I have the same aux valves on my NH TC40 DA but don't have to use another lever to open a valve to boost power... but I can live with it now I know how to operate. Thanks

This is interesting. Is this a new feature on the 2400 or somthing the dealer added? I'm not aware of an aux valve on my 2310. What would the benifit of this would be?

Hi.
I ask the dealer to put on two quick coupler valves for me.. this was to operate a small trailer with a hydro tip .... The aux valve serves the purpose for this..
