Best Model Mahindra 60hp Range

Thanks for all the replies. It seems everyone is happy with their Mahindra. The more I look at them the more I like them. I had never gave them a series look before.

Also it sounds like everyone likes the 30 series better than the 20 series. They seem to be a little overlap between the two on HP. Are they both built in India? I do like the open platform on the 20 series.
I see it is about $6,000 more for 4-wheel drive when compared with the 2-wheel drive models, is it worth it?

I read where thay were a partner with IH back in the 60's. Is there any similarities between the old IH and their new tractors?

IH licensed Mahindra to build the IH B414 tractor in the 1960s. My 5525 is probably the great great grandchild of that marriage. I think my 5525 has a lot in common with the IH Farmalls of the 1960s.

Thanks Brandi for the posting the specs! I think I like the 20 series the best also. Mahindra seems to be the best value out there with many passionate owners. It would fit nice in my operation.

You know HHH, I have never heard of Hoosier Hay. Is this a regional hay?
My dealer has a sweet used 7520 for sale down here in Conroe Texas. It belongs to the service manager. A lot of folks go with the 7520 instead of the 6520 for larger round balers. He and the salesman run a hay operation down here and need to sale the 7520 to pay a repair bill he has on his cabbed New Holland. The 7520 has the ML276 loader and about 300-350 hours on it. It is a 2007 model and was bought just after I bought my 6520. I think he wants $24,500.00. It also has hyd. lines from the rear remote up to the loader. He used it to power a bale accumulator/stacker.

Adding my 2 cents worth. If I was to do it all over again, the 6000 4WD, FEL would be my choice. My 4500 4WD is nice, but.......

I just took the name Hoosier, which is the official demonym for a resident of the state of Indiana and since I love to make hay, put it all together for the name.
That seems like a pretty good price on the 7520. I think you are right the 7520 would fit better if rolling rounds. I am going to google the distance to Texas from Indiana. I will try to contact them to see if they have any pics.
I will try to get some pics of our hoosier hay which we think is pretty gosh darn good.

I kind of figured that. But I am confused on you signing off with HHH. Is that your initials. Beautiful hay photos and pastures! I am kinda envious, as I want to bale hay, but don't have the room. I was going to say something funny like why did you take photos of all that Texas hay, until I saw the ribbons and trophy. Good job. I once was going to buy alfalfa from my uncle in the Texas Panhandle and haul it down here for resale. He was selling it then for $3 a bale in bulk and it was bringing $7 a bale down here. But Fire ants migrated up to there, so it was a big gamble. Do y'all have Fire ants there yet? Or is it just too cold for them that far north?

Thanks for the contact info Brandi. I will try to give them a call tomorrow afternoon. Those are neat tractors. I have never set on a Mahindra yet. I did a dealer serch and there are a couple of dealers within 80 miles. I plan on going to the Louisville Farm Show in Febuary. I know they will have one there.

No fire ants in Indiana that I am aware of. What do they do to a hay field?
It must be too cold for them. We were 8 deg yesterday morning and that is starting to get to cold for me. It is getting cold early this year. We have snow on the ground and those round bales in picture above are already feed. Hay is going fast.
