Posthole Digger 3 Pt. blade and post hole digger

I would like to purchase a blade and post hole digger. Blade for snow removal and moving dirt and rock, would like 6'. Any suggestions, I've herd the ones at Tractor Supply are good. Would also like a used post hole digger 8" any ideas on what these will run. Everyone I know doesn't want to let go (sell) theirs.

I would look on ebay for any used stuff. I have never seen an 8" auger offered though. They all seem to come in 6", 9" 12". Just make sure that the PHD you get fits your tractor.

I fat fingered when typing it should be 9". The blade I think I'll get at my local TSC, but the post hole digger is way too expensive new. I'll hopefully get one at the auction in Jan, but I'm not spending $700-$1000 on something that will get used once in a great great while.

TSC carries several sevice grades of KK 3 pt blades. Do yourself a favor and get one of the heavier ones. I have a 7' "professional" grade on order. It's a fairly substantial piece (340 lbs) for about $500 and should work for me - I don't plan on abusing it too badly.

I just picked a standard Heavy duty one at TSC. Weighs 700#. They had it marked wrong...Then even knocked 25 dollars off because of the paint being scratched.. I thought it was a good deal.

It was 639 then I got 25 dollars off. I called another TSC before i bought it and they quoted $1049 for the HD Blade. I think I got a good deal. I like how it indexes on the tilt etc...

Get on TSCs mailing list, they send out discount offers several times a year. I just took advantage of one (25% off or $100 max) to get that standard PHD for $350, and a different (15%) coupon to get a pair of augers (6" and 9") for $208. With my ag exemption, that was PHD and 2 augers out the door for $558
