Try a junkyard.. and i'd think semi truck rims will be better.. tractor owner's don't get rid of rims till they rot out.. then they are useless.

Mine were 16" rims, a little small for a fire ring. They qre also not centerless rims, so that would not be a good idea for your use.
In my opinion, tractor trailer type of centerless rims in the 20" size would make you the best fire ring, especially if you could join two or three into the shape of an "8" by welding two together. Doing three would allow for longer wood to be used, but might have problems in keeping the heat in a single area.

I live in Florida and am looking for a lawn tractor salvage yard here. I have searched the web but may not be using the right key words. Anyone know of one in Central Florida ?

i've yet to find ANY good ag/mower/farm equipment salvage yards in central florida.. been looking for DECADES

I'm a few cities south of ocala.. but I know the ocala and belleview area well... )that said.. there is a junk man in belleview. he has som lawn mowers at the front of his property. he has no phone that I know of.. but since you are in ocala... just head south on 441 till you get to belleview.. once you pass the sherrif's station on your left ( heading south ).. you will then hit a light at a mini storage place. there is another light a bit up at a school on the right side. I know he's on the left. I don't know if he is between those 2 lights.. or south of the school light.. in any case.. if you go to far, you hit a lite at a publix on your left.. turn around there and head orth, and keep looking right.. can't miss it.. lawnmowers and weedeaters are piled up at his fence.. mind you it is a narrow strip.. like 20-30'.. so pull right over.
