As well as being one of the few of us that can say we competed in a World Championship, representing our sponsoring country.

Just got off the phone with Muhammad. In singles division, he made it into the second round, but did not medal. He finished in the top 20; in pairs, they also made it into the final round, but again did not medal, finishing 12th.

Overall it was a great experience. Since the forms or "Poomse" is not officially part of Taekwondo at the Olympics, yet, this World Championship is the closest thing to a world title. So all in all, we are extremely proud and satisfied at their performance in his first World competition.

This si wonderful wonderful news. WOW, by himself he was in the top 20 in the world? That is amazing and an accomplishment to be proud of. Then in pairs ranked 12th in the world, it only gets better. Those are darned high rankings, we are ALL proud of Muhammad here on TBN but certainly Hakim you must be the proudest. i will be waiting for the videos more than anyone since I have not a clue what the sport is.
