Box blade finished--freeze drying paint

Well couldn't wait for it to warm up so I used lots of driers and painted it in my shop. Some pics of a beautiful sunrise today---Boxblade finished---My tree pulled picker upper-another project, this is my wood splitter as the drawbar and the engine runs both the splitter and the dump box. I pull it with my Massey 165 or if too soft of ground then with my 350C JD. Going to put a 5th wheel under front so it will steer better.

Outstanding job. Love the View. As for the box blade, looks like you built it to handle a tank (nothing wrong with that).

Awesome job on the box blade. Will the paint still dry in freezing temps ?

Why ?, you already have half a steering system now, just needs to be finished.
And IMO, a better steering setup then a fifth wheel will give ya. Mainly because it keeps the front wheels in the corners where they belong.

I'm thinking of a setup like this.

I have had several small dump trucks on my place over the years. But as we all know ,when you don't use them all the time engines don't start , brakes fail,Batterys dead and rotten gas. I bought this frame and box with no cab or engine for $800.00. Shortened the frame and had a trailer wood splitter that I took the wheels off of and used the splitter bed for the tow hitch. 12 hp briggs runs the splitter and I have a diverter valve to use same power for the box. Pulls nice but need to tune up the steering.I have chain links going to the tie rod ends but they don't turn it enough.
