Snowblower video of Kubota bx24 with rear snowblower in action

Here is a link to a video I did today of the BX 24 in about 18" of compacted snow. I was getting rid of the built up banks. If anyone is wondering about the BX performing with a snowblower, no problem. It performs very well. This is a 50" bueler that was scabbed with rust. I wire brushed it down and applied chassis saver paint, its hard as nails. Anyways, I paid $400 for the blower and about $40 in paint and a new chain for $15. It has beveled gears and no gearbox. Just as well as I see some issues that are happening to one guy with a meteor.

That is pretty impressive. The 24 seems to have plenty of power.Are you running at 540pto. I wish we got more heavy snows in my area so I could justify needing one.

540 rpm is at around 3100 rpm engine speed. I am running around 2600 rpms, so it is more like 440rpm or so.

Bill, if you'd like I have plenty of people who get tired of the snow and would not mind at all if someone else moved it for them! Just give me a shout and I'll line up a day or two of it for you!

Cool vid...Thanks for sharing...I've never owned a snowblower and see where you're cranking a handle attached to it...Is that some sort of up and out or an angle adjustment...?

The crank rotates the chute that directs the snow to where you want it to go... the chute typically will turn slightly more than 180 degrees, allowing you to throw the snow to either side.

I have a B7800 Kubota with a front end snowblower. I like it but I break too many shear pins. Not sure why.

Nice action shots!! I'm surprised you didn't put a rock through your picture window. I've shot rocks a good 50' out of my snowblower.

Regarding the power to run the blower, I have a 60" Farm King (Buhler) on my BX2350. Last weekend it was going through 18" snow drifts with no problem.
