Changed out the diesel and got a good lift out of it. Might look at keeping it in? Could the hyp pump burn out with such a light mix?

You could probably get a lift with water. Temporarily anyway, until the pump burned out.

Besides being thinner, the diesel fuel doesn't have the lube properties of hydraulic fluid. And I'm pretty sure AW32 will be more seal and hose friendly too.

Isopropyl alcohol - like rubbing alcohol. It is typically bottled as general purpose (70%), strong (90%), or straight (99+%). Cheapest way to get it is by the gallon from vet supply houses.

Since your tractor has separate sumps, you should be using separate fluids. Universal fluids like THF are for common sump systems where tranny/diff and hydraulics all share the same fluid. On your machine THF will likely be too thick for hydraulics, too thin for gears. You will get majority recommendations here to use gear oil for the transmission and differentials, hydraulic fluid for the hydraulics.

Neither. Like I said, gear oil for gears - hydraulic fluid for hydraulics.

Transmission/rear diff - typically 80@90 non-foaming yellow metal friendly gear oil. 85W140 in warm to hot climates
Hydraulics and steering - typically AW32 hydraulic fluid. AW46 or AW64 in warmer climates. Be careful to buy AW-- hydraulic fluid and not AW-- machine oil. Not R&O oil either, for that matter.

Use something like 80W90 for the gear box and AW32 for the hydros in your area. Some in hotter climates like Greg use something a little different but you really cant go wrong with the 80W90 and AW32.

Some Walmarts now are carrying their brand ( supertech ) of 80w90 oil with anti-foam and yellow metal saft labels.

Also, some pharmacies sell the 90% alcohol in as large as 1g jugs.
