Yikes! Is it Winter where you are?

We've had overcast days with mild weather.
Days are mid 50'sF and lows dipping into the low 30'sF.
That -11F in Minnesota is -23.9C. That's friggin cold!!

Hiya,

Seems like winter here, -7F this morning w/ constant 25MPH wind along with the occasional 50MPH gust. We had a foot or so of fresh powder yesterday on top of the 2++ feet we had last week right after the ice storm.

Yep, winter.....

I live on Vancouver Island and we have had a couple of good dumps over Christmas and it has stayed colder than normal so the snow is staying longer. The tractor has been great for plowing the driveway, I've plowed my driveway 3 times in the past week and a half and helped a few of the neighbors. I just looked out the window and it is snowing again.

Yeah there's been a bit of winter here in Southern Alberta. Had a great Christmas break out at the acreage. The fog stuck to the trees real well.

Hey Ductape, where in NH do you live? I live in Enfield, which is about 15 miles south of Dartmouth College (I work there) in Hanover. We're lucky if we got an inch of snow yesterday. If snowmobiles didn't cost so much, I'd consider buying for something to do during the winter.

I had 0 degrees this morning with -17F degrees with the windchill factor. I can handle 0 degrees but, that wind is brutal gusting over 25MPH. Roger

I'm over in Tilt'n. It has been brutal..... this morning walking the dog the vapor from my breath froze my mustache to my lower lip ! One way to shut me up i guess.......

Hey, Ductape. Nice to see that the wind has FINALLY stopped. Spent the whole day, more or less, inside, feeding the wood stove. Now I have some ashes to deal with.. Reg'lar heat wave today-- all of +3 at my place this AM.

Roger2561-- I'm just up the hill from you on King Rd. Yeah, north facing slope- a bit cooler at times. We had -4 yesterday morning. Hope to meet you sometime. Picked up a couple of Ariens shearbolts the other day @ Enfield Hardware-- great little place, only about 4 miles for me. Hope he stays right there and doesn't move out on Rte 4 like he was thinking about....

Driveway now has another fairly good base on it; sure hope we're not in for any more of that "wintry mix" garbage! I was thinking I'd be better off to put skates on my cars... More snow on the way today, but apparently not too much-- might just pack it down to add to the base on the driveway.

We missed the wind. We missed the ice storm a while ago. Got plenty of snow and then a lot of it melted. But it was ten below this morning. Truck won't start. Forgot to plug it in.
