Anyone know what the Montana incentives are for this month or quarter (JAN 2009)? A family member is now looking at tractors..I say the big 3 is probably the way to go in this economy. Plus he was quoted $600 less for a kubota 3240 vs a 3644 (december).
Income tax returns are right around the corner.

The "big 3" huh? That's funny, I don't care who you are!

Look at the big three in the auto industry. Now look at the other car manufacturers. Who's asking for help? Makes you think doesn't it? I saw a commercial last night where Hyundai will let you bring back your car if you lose your job this year. Now that is commitment!

If I were buying another tractor right now I would look into a company like Montana. I don't think they would plan on shutting the doors right after purchasing 14.1 million in Farmtrac assets. Do you? I know this isn't the auto industry but I think it's something to consider. Have a good one RR.:D

The website says 5 years at 0 percent and $1500 rebate. Call your local dealer and ask them. They may have a special special.

I don't really know anything about the Kubota, but I would guess that the Montana has more things std (like SS quick attach, rear remotes) than the Kubota. Be sure that the tractors are equipped the same when comparing prices.

I did not mean to get anyone upset. However, comparing the big 3 in tractors to the big three in the auto industry is like the apple and oranges comparision. The big 3 auto is based in the USA and is as simliar, mismanaged and corrupt as our political system...promise everything, fix the books, disreguard deficits and line your pockets while the getting is good.
Don't get me wrong I buy American every chance I get. I currently have 2 chevys and a ford. I also believe in capitalism and survival of the fittest. I will never buy a vechicle from a company that accepts bail out money..just like I canceled credit cards at "banks" that asked for money ..but thats a whole other story...I will get off my soap box now.
If you read my past posts you will see I have high praise for Montana and TYM tractors. In fact I was the one that told my f that he check them out. Its just that here on the ME/NH boarder of the 5 TYm or Montana dealers: 1 is a hardware store, 1 is a used car lot , 1 is no longer dealing and the other 2 are private garages . I guess you can chalk it up to low overhead if you wish.
I am getting way off thread here.
I truly just wanted to know if Montana has any incentives planned for income tax time. The website is not showing any incentives but it maybe the oddball browser I am using..
Thanks

Didn't I read somewhere that J.D. accepted $2,000,000,000.00 in bail out and didn't I hear last night on PBS that their stock was downgraded to "sell"? Weren't they part of the big 3?
