Plowing at night

Beautiful tractor you have there, How did you like using the backup cam at night in the snow.

The back up camera is one of the best additions I've put on the tractor. When your busy in the cab and something like a vehicle sneaks up on you It kind of gives me the "heads up" and I see them. I find it easier to glance at the camera than to look up at the mirrors. In the night mine switches over to inferred so It's mostly black & white but I can see with it in complete darkness which is a great feature. There's time a few flakes of snow gets on the lens cover but it don't really effect the camera other than seeing the drops on the screen.

Evil the Weasel I think my wife was a little concerned when I was close with the snow blower on. She never seen it working before and kind of surprised her.

I guess it is what it is. In the dark you don't see much but it was my intention to do one in the night and one in the day. I've done a few video's, there up on YouTube but never one in the dark. Could have put spot lights on the thing but it would have been just as well to wait for the sun to come up

Very Nice setup! It looks just as fast as a pickup mounted blade, of course with way more capabilities!! The snow blower is impressive and I love the light show

All I can say is Wow!!
You are one very talented man. There is no project you can't handle, everything you do shows skill, imagination, detail, and most of all perfection. You have a nice family too.
You make me want to go out to the garage and make something else now.
We have very similar interests I have also restored many of the same things as you over the years including the same computing scale as you , lathe , bridgeport, even remade my new Miller welding cart to fit better, but I have to admit I stopped at the spare tire. Your work is flawless, Keep those projects coming. Your shop should be renamed Superb Specialty Repairs, SSR..

Thank you my friend for the nice words. As you know these things take a lot of time to do but it's like all things, you only get out what you put into them but there still only things. As for my family I Really appreciate your compliment on them because that all that really matters isn't it.

If you have any pictures or links to your work I would really enjoying seeing them. I'm so involved in my own work I forget there's a world out there with other doing the same thing

Thanks guys. The camera is amazing. It's as clear as watching a good TV set. I guess it's were it's an LCD screen. Very happy to have it and would recommend it to anyone. I liked the system so much I bought one for my pick up. Glad you liked the video. Thanks for posting!
