Don't know what he wants for his, IF he decides to sell it, but I only paid $50 for each of my pond scoops, a 24" and a 30". For that kind of money, he should keep his, and don't let it set on the ground outside. At least keep it off the ground and tilted so the rain/snow doesn't rust it out.

THanks for the input guys! I have decided to keep both the boom pole and the scoop pan... for now anyway LOL. Just for the heck of it, here's a pic of my scoop pan:

I got the pan used for $90, but it was a rust bucket when I got it. Of course, I sanded, primed, and then painted it equipment yellow. It's made by A&B Eagle Line and is a very good well made heavy duty pan. I called A&B in Tennessee and they said new it retails for over $400 bucks! I got the boom pole for $35 at an old Ford tractor repair place that went out of business here about 10 years ago. It's faded red but I'm gonna paint it JD Green sometime this Spring. Again, thanks for your comments. You all have given me some new ideas on different ways to use them!
