can someone tell me where i can purchase tire studs for a tractor with r4 17.5 L 24 industrial tires?
my dealer never heard of studding the tires, but i will check out a tire center, maybe they won't look at me like i'm from another planet! In my area the NH dealer installs them.
Also perhars truck tire centers.
sorry for the delay I had chains on the front for 3yrs and tore up the front differential, cost me alomost $800 and could have cost 2000 or more. I didnt think i had the clearence for chains on the rear, plus it just makes it in the shed now. since doing a little research, studs may rip out and are almost as much as chains. I have a lot of hills here and when the temp is in the 20 s and 30 s it gets stuck and i can not work the bucket fast enough to get out, so i keep some sand around to throw under the tires, but that is getting to hard for me to do. I ordered a set of 2 link v bar ladder chains yesterday 1-17-09 from tire chain.com in pa., they said i should not have a problem if i keep them tight. hope that answers you questionHI meanstreak , you are not far form me (Eden area) just curious why you want studed tires?
