What paint do you use to match Kubota orange?

Why not just buy a quart of paint directly from your Kubota dealer. The color is a perfect match (it should be since its from Kubota), and the quality of the paint is far superior to the Tremclad and other off the shelf brands. Its more expensive, but worth it in my opinion. This is not something you buy every day. I have used it with a spray gun, and had to really thin it out. This is commercial grade paint.

I got some discount coupons when I bought my tractor, so one of the things I got soon after I bought my tractor was a quart of the Kubota orange (used it to paint my Herd M-96 spreader to match the tractor), and the gray, to touch up the rops etc. from all the scratches it gets when I mow etc.

Whent to my local NAPA autoparts store and they said that they had an exact colour match from DuPont for kubota orange...not cheap at $35.00 canadian per litre

My wife insists I need a new Kabota because the colors are all faded on my 10 year old one compared to the new ones displayed at the dealer. Is it sinful to not tell her the colors changed and also to agree with her about needing one?

I suppose it depends on how much painting your gonna do, but I just buy the spray cans from the local dealer.

JUST TRY ONE CAN.What is the diference in cost,on the two?Try one can ,then judge match, cost ,ect.Sorry if I stepped on toes.I will butt out.SORRY

Chevy engine orange... cheap.... easy to find... covers well, and the match is perfect. Just remember to always shake the can for at least 5 minutes after you hear the ball inside the can come loose, to get all the pigment into suspension. Most times when paint doesn't match, it is the painters fault more often than the paint.
