I hadn't started my 2310 in about 2 months, not even a charger on the battery, so I ckecked up on it today since it has been cold here in Ohio. Turned the key to glowplugs for about 10 secs. and turned it to start and it fired right up no problems. The only hard part of starting over auto based diesels is you are the glowplug controller.

So...

How does the 100 #'s of pressure drop - from the pump...when you shut it off?

The dealer said I could raise the HP by incresaing pump pressure? :rolleyes:
Is that true?

In the or similar engines department, in addition to one of these iseki "E" series engines I own a Toro Reelmaster with a similar 3 cyl. Mitsubishi engine. The Mitts now has 3700 hours on it and it runs fine.

Bingo! Same engine as in GC2310 series. (I thought it was, but data plate confirms it.... Man, is that thing teensy -- and well hidden!:D)

Great thanks a lot - looks like we will have to build a stainless muffler.

So - any info on more HP if you increased the pump pressure....that is what the dealer said - to bring it up to the 2610HP?
