it's singles and yes I wish I would of bought the duals....the guy I got the hay from wanted to put another bail on the neck of the trailer! yes the trailer and the truck are over loaded by there gvwr but comared to what these farms do on a daily basis is with smaller trailers this is nothing.

dually or no dually its still a beast. I like it.

With a load like that you must have a good__ply__tire.

I had my wife's cousin order me a set of trailer tires, he mounted them on, then seen ~MADE IN CHINA~ took them back off.

Around here it's hard to find good trailer tires.

I am in the trailer business and I hate to say it but the made in China tires are the best thing on the market anymore. I can not keep a set of Carlisle on a trailer and the Goodyear's are junk anymore. I guess they have cut corners trying to match the imports price. The best luck we have had is the Greenballs and Tow Masters. I had a trailer blow 3 of the 4 Carlisle's in a 200 mile time period, put on Tow Masters and went another 4,000 miles with zero issues. Took possession of a new Tri-Axle and went through 3 of the 6 in the first year, even had the spare blow out while on the spare mount, sounded like a shot gun. All either lost the tread or blew the sidewalls wide open. Anyway put in the Greenballs and it still has them about 10,000 miles later and 4+ years.

I have good luck with running goodyear 14ply load range G tires on a single wheel tandem axle trailer. I have ran up to 32,000 on the trailer but usually try to keep it under 30,000 load which keeps my gross around 44,000, Which is about all my ford wants. These tires seem to handle the load well but I did have to order rims that matched them as normal 16 rims are not rated for to handle 4k or 110 psi.

I do like seeing people that know how to haul hay, just keep away from the portable scales as they love writing tickets to farmers. In our area they will ticket for pulling 2 gravity wagons if they are over 500bu wagons being pulled by a pickup.

When i bought my trailer new it just had brakes on one axle, no
clearance lights, just tail lights and the tires that was already on was
the firestones that ford had so much problems with.
I put brakes on the other axle, put clearance lights down the side and one on each fender, so at night i could see where the trailer was
on these narrow roads when meeting another car.

I had the tow masters put on (and i agree they was good tires) i had them on for about 3 years, went to hook on to the trailer one day,
and i always check the air pressure, on one of them i noticed a knot and when i checked all of them the tread was coming off, i thought they were retread,they had allot of miles of them.

The only way my trailer dealer sells allot of trailers is, without any
extras on them, he goes to Missouri and gets a load of different kinds.
