The county inspector had JUST signed off on it.
Said it was "all he could do since it was a remodel".

NO NO NO it is not mine! A friend of mine in the trades sent me a file with a bunch of code violations. One has to wonder how anyone would think that was safe!

Well it seems that all that is missing is the cover plate and a light fixture...

at least they used wire nuts and didn't try to stuff them into the box and put a cover on it.

Well here is another clasic!!

cigar.gif

Caption stated:

No need to ground this box. The cigar box is located under a kitchen cooktop. Fendrich was a
local cigar company here in Evansville, Ind. I would call this a classic case of Indiana frugality.

Note: I have no idea where these came from, who generated the first listing, but I do find some of them really interesting. When we bought our hunting camp there was a mobile home furnace in the main room. All wired up with 12/2 and looked pretty good, until I traced the wire through the wall and found out they had plugged it into an outlet in the bedroom! The fuse box was on the other side of the main room so it would have required climbing under the camp to run the wire, why do that!

That should be in a 3-4 gang box, have an extension on it (and clamps to hold the wires in) or split be into several boxes.
