I've had to take a few nights off here to catch up on some things around the house, like reading to my kids.

It's killing me to be this close and not be working on it, but first things do come first. Hopefully I'll get out there tomorrow night. My goal is to be pushing snow with the loader by Saturday.

I'm done for now. I cheated a bit. Rather than remove the subframe to finish weld the whole thing, I just welded the surfaces I could do well as is. I'll have to take it off in the spring when it's warm enough to paint it. I'll finish the welding then.

I moved a bunch of snow today with it. The loader is almost as valuable for the added weight as it is for it's functionality. I could push a whole lot more snow just with the back blade than I could push before I put the loader on.

It's still slower than I'd like it to be. I may add a hydraulic pump someday that is driven off the mid-PTO. For now, though, I'm excited just to have a loader again.
