OK, but how about us that wear a size 7 shoe?:D:D

OK, I don't see why there wouldn't be room for your "Elvish Feet" if there is room for my 13's and sometimes 14 boots.

My wife wears size 7 1/2 and sometimes 8. Her sister has smaller feet. Neither of them have a problem putting either a heel or toe and ball of foot on floor and having good control in forward or reverse.

My problem is in the opposite direction; with my size 15's using the treadle was a problem at first. After a few stretching exercises I have no problem keeping my whole foot on the treadle and find it quite comfortable. I do use the cruise control at times.

Keeping your foot in one position for a long time will be tiring and cause pain regardless of whether you are operating a tractor or driving a car. Because of my long legs and big feet I find driving anything other than a pickup or Suburban painful after an hour or so.

I have to say that during the first few weeks, after spending over 7 hours nonstop that I had serious (well not that serious) knee pain and was having a hard time walking. I believe it’s called a rocker pedal (single pedal) that I have and you have to press hard to go backward. Very easy and fast to operate --One hand on the steering and the other on the loader control or 3pt hitch control or holding the ROPS looking backward.

Lately, I don't spend 7 hours straight in that cold so no more knee pain. Now its frozen knees and a gear tractor wouldn't help. A cab tractor would :)

I drive a manual SUV (so I'm used to a clutch), my ATV is automatic and so is my tractor. I wouldn't change my SUV for an auto trans. and would change my tractor or ATV for a gear trans.

Sometimes I would like to have a cruise control doh...

Note that I use my tractor for house work and not field work...

Cheers,
Max

On the Kubota B7100 My small foot just did not span between the front and back pedals. I always had to move my foot.:D

That's why I like the Power Trac's pedal setup. Right forward, left reverse, no brakes! :D

Thanks for all the replies. I never had a problem when I was riding old motorcycle and shifting up and down with my right foot and just wondered about Dargo's comment. Of course, that was 40 years ago!:D:D

Egon, I'm not familiar with that model. does it have two too widely spaced pedals for your little foot?

My single pedal type works OK for some really small feet and also for really wide feet like my neighbor who has driven my tractor with his 5E width feet. Talk about SQUARE FEET.

Those aren't feet, they're paddles! :)

I've got 13 double A over B, more like traditional cross country skis! :D

Pat: one pedal but the toe heal pads are too far apart for my size 7's!:D

Do they have much side cut or are they a straight sided type Moss?:D
