Price Check CK25HST pricing.

Hello, I'm new and new to needing a larger tractor. I have an offer on my desk now for a new CK25HST with loader, box blade and bush hog for under $13k plus tax. I need a 4 wheel drive tractor for sure some of the land is wet and I'm pretty sure my local JD dealer will not be able to match that price. Does that sound like a reasonable price for this size tractor?

Though I haven't priced them lately. That sounds like a fair price based on what I paid 3 years ago. I have the CK25 gear. Great tractor so far (290 hrs). It's a beast for ground engagement.

I recommend:
loaded tires
QA bucket adapter
at least one set of rear remotes
grill guard
tooth bar
Ag. tires (R4's aren't good in the mud)

That is an excellent price, and is probably based on the free loader promotion, rather than the low rate financing promotion.

Make sure it has the new style loader. The CK25 might have been sitting on the dealers lot for over a year so could have the older crack prone loader. The new loader has a hollow torque tube that you can see from the side. Older style loader doesn't. If it does have the older loader just make sure it has the "repair" kit installed.

It is based on the free loader and is most likely from last year. They are willing to deal on tractors that are still on the lot, I'll have to check on the torque tube.

I went to test drive the tractor on Friday and took the deal. In an extremely rare move I did not hammer them on the deal. They delivered the tractor and implements Saturday with no delivery fee even though its about 70 miles and it was full of diesel.

Within 1 hour of delivery I had snapped the shear bolt on the bush hog. Later on in the evening I found that tractors don't float Thanks to 1 stuck tractor and my F150 I now have a small pond in the shape of a CK25. I pulled the tractor out fixed the rotary cutter and started mowing sunday thats 1+ acres down. I have a bunch of small trees to take out before the field grass starts growing and a culvert or 2 to put in since I cannot float across.

Thus far I am very happy with my CK25. Once I have flattened out the 4' high beach grass I have growing all over it won't take me 2-3 hours to mow down an acre.

Congratulations. Which loader did you end up with, KL130 or KL130B? And, why didn't you choose the optional floatation wings?

It came with the KL130B. A pair of pontoons on outriggers should do it.
