Has anyone got any experience with removing and installing the MMM deck on the GC2300 or GC2400 series tractors? I will be needing to remove and install the deck more often than most I fear and I need to know that it is not going to be a problem. Thank you in advance for your help.

Ditto that request-- I' buying a used mmm for my 2310, and have never used a "rider" mower before; any tips welcome!

When changing the mower on or off it makes it a lot easeir if you have the
front loader on so that you can raies the complete front of the tractor
Also on mine I cut off the rear wheels of the mower and re installed them so
they could turn 360 deg.

So are we saying that it can be a little bit difficult to remove and install this mid mount mower?

I've never had that problem with my BX23.
Don't suppose It's because I've never takin the mower off do you:D?

When you get familiar with it, it isn't that bad at all.
Here is what I do with my GC2310:
To instal the mower deck I drive the tractor onto two 2x6's, one under each front tire. Next I slide the mower deck under. I instal it in my barn with a wooden floor so it slides relatively easy and I don't bother rotating the wheels. When the mower deck is in position I lower the rear lift arms and lock the pins in place. Then I slowly drive the tractor forward just enough to clear the 2x6's. When I am clear of the 2x6's I hook up the front hanger bracket and then connect the shaft to the mid PTO. Connecting to the PTO is a little tricky the first time, but it gets much easier with experience. One thing to be careful with is making sure the lock snaps into position on the PTO. If you have a drop cloth put it on the ground and over the edge of the deck. Use the drop cloth to lay on and it will make it much easier to reach the PTO the first few times and you shouldn't get too dirty.
I do the exact same sequence in reverse for removal.
I remove/instal my mower deck several times a year and I don't find it to be much of a hassle. I think with a bit of practice you will have no problems.
Good Luck!

I R&R mine on a regular basis, since I don't leave the mower on when I'm not actually mowing. It makes a bit of a difference if you have R4's on or turf tires. [ R4's have a bit more height ] It also helps to do this on a hard surface. Having the cutting height down low makes it easier too.

With the mower up, pull the pin on the left rear wheel, drop it down and put the pin back in the top hole so that the wheel shaft sits against it. [this lets you turn the wheel 90 degrees ]. Let the mower down and disconnect everything. Raise the lift arms. Roll the mower out. R4's it will come straight out, turf's you have to wiggle a bit and watch for clearance. If you don't have the hydraulic filter guard be careful since the right rear wheel shaft will hit the filter. I always come out the left side for convenience so I've never tried the right side.

Installation is the reverse of the above.

It only takes a couple of minutes either direction without working too hard!

It might be that I use my deck at to low of a setting, but to remove the deck on my tractor takes less than 35 seconds. I simply reach in and unhook the PTO, then pull both lower lift arm pins, raise the lift arms all the way, unhook the front carrier and pull it out the right hand side of the tractor. I do this on a concrete floor, so it slides easy. I don't turn the rear wheels in any direction, as I find that it slides easy. Install is then reverse, with the longest time spent trying to slide the PTO on.
