Century 3035 Owner has R4s-Wants R1s-HELP

A friend of mine has a Century 3035 with R4 tires on the rear that he hates. They are 17.5L - 24. He cannot find anything in R1 in that size. Does anyone know of any R1s in that size or can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks.

If the 3035 is 4WD he will need to check his owners manual since he probably cannot interchange R4 for R1 unless he changes front and back to keep the gear ratios in sync. If its only 2WD it shouldn't be a problem. R1's are usually narrower and taller.

My tractor has industrial R4 (27x8.50-15 F and 15x19.5 R). Ag and Turf tires are different.
Ag tires (R1) sizes are 7x16 F and 11.2x24 R and
Turf tires (R3) sizes are 25x8.50-14 F and 13.6x16 R

Have him look into Center Pivot Tires. They are usually on about that size of rim. I think they're quite a bit narrower than his, but most ags are narrower than the R4's anyway. He may use the rims and tires if the bolt patterns match up.

If you Google 17.5L - 24 there are a lot of places that have them BUT...
that is an R-4 size. KennyV

Yes, it is 4wd and I have mentioned to him that he has to keep the same circumference tires on the rear if he does not change the front tires. I also found some charts on the Titan tire site(he currently has Titan tires) that explain the ratios, slippage calculations, etc...

The only thing I have found so far are R4. I have found some that say they are R1 and have to be ordered from China. However, even though they say R1, the pictures show R1 on some and R4 on others. I doubt he wants to order from China.

If they don't have the tires/rims (he'll need both) in stock, they can probably provide him with the standard sizes for the R-1 Option...

the 3035 comes with 12.4-28 on rear and 8-16 on front.you need to buy new rims and tires to change from R-4 to R-1 hope this helps.
