I have a 275 gallon tank that I would like to permanantly mount a fuel transfer pump on to fill 5 gallon cans and or my tractor directly. I would prefer a 110v pump although a 12v would work. I do not need a fast pump. 5 to 10 gallons a minute would be enough although faster is alright also.I would like it to be able to lift from the tank when it is getting close to empty. Any recommendations on a pump setup either parts and pieces of a complete setup package. Do not need a filler nozzle, just a hose end is fine.
Would like recommendations of specific make and model and place to purchase.

You've put the alert out. I can almost guarantee that you are going to get some help here. LBrown will most certainly be able to point you in the correct direction. There may be a yellow light flashing on top of his computer right at this moment, alerting him of this thread.:D:D

There have been several threads about doing just what you want to do in the Oil, Fuel, and Lubricants forum, including a number with LB's setup, pics included. You can do a search for Transfer Pump or Fueling, should bring up most of them.

What do you think. I am answering my own question, but I was thinking the Fill-Rite Model SD602 115volt.
It is 13gpm, 7 ft max lift, 3/4 inch outlet with a manual filling station type nozzle. Pumpbiz.com has it for $292.00 with free shipping.

How much fuel do you use annually? 275 gal is a lot of fuel (over 5 55 gal drums). The machine in your avatar looks like it's probably pretty economical. The reason I ask is because I don't think you want to be sitting on fuel for a long time. Someone who filled up last summer when it was pushing 4 bucks can buy off-road for around $1.84 right now. Of course the numbers could be the other way around too I suppose...

I've put 60 hours on my tractor since last April. It would be more, but a wet spring/early summer put the kabosh on some activity...I've purchased 55 gal of off-road from my neighbor, and the tank is currently full (and also came that way from the dealer). I guess I'm burning a little under a gal/hr.

If you're spending a lot of time on your unit, and can burn it within a reasonable time, I guess 275 gal maybe isn't all that much, and could save you some trips with the fuel cans. Then again - That's a lot of diesel...

Usta, One thing for certain you don't want 10gpm without a nozzle. All comments aside, LBrown does have a nice setup. You should look it over. A 275 gallon tank is a lot of space for condensation to collect or a lot of fuel to use between seasonal blend changes. Again LBrown's setup seems a lot closer to your needs as you've described them so far. MikeD74T

I agree, I dont use a lot of fuel. My situation is I have a 275G tank inside my garage for the warm air furnace. The furnace is not running full time but I will still go through about 350g a year. Since I have the fuel right there anyway, is why I want to pump from it. I now siphone from the tank into 5 gallon cans (usually making a mess) and then pour from the cans into the tractor (usually making a mess) The last time I put fuel in the tractor, I quickly noticed fuel dripping down the front of my bestest pair of jeans. Have I mentioned that I am a slob?

I knew LB would find this.
The two above post by polo1665 and kevinj
are keeping you from getting answers to your question or replies to your post.
You have some options.
Can you show him some pictures of that pumping station you have.
