Yeah we can have some rough spots in March and even occasionally on into April but for the most part the last day of Feb signals the end of the worst of winter.LB,
Its nice to be hopefull, but i saw a robin last week, and then SUNDAY night awoke to 28 inches of snow overnight..Ihope i didnt spoil your thoughts of some seat time
Here where i am i never consider it spring until at least the 2nd week of APRIL,and then we still can get a "sap snow"

Hey LB ,
Igot this email, right after i posted, thought id share. The caption read"SUMMERS has come to MAINE.We can see the deer are moving around.Yep wont be long."

Do you know where that picture was taken?
Someone posted that in January and i saw that same picture on my local news station.
nope,It was just an email i got ,that was circulating. We do have that much snow, but i went out snowshoeing today the deer are still moving.Probably cause of the darn coyote tracks i saw.The little rascals are hanging out right near a place i know of where the deer are yarding up.Until this last 28 inch storm ,i hadnt seen a coyote track all winter in that area.Gonna pluck them off one by one,unless....
