The L2800 would be my choice but I guess it all boils down to what you are going to bei doing with it. If physical size is not a big deal I ould go with the 2800 just because you could do more with it.

Sounds fair. I recently gave 18,900.00 for a new L3400 HST w/ loader. Good Luck (probably could have done a little better had it not been for a trade in with purchase)

It will be sad day indeed when piece of my heart place upon the flat bed,and I did try and convince the Mrs. we should hang on to the old girl...no dice. :(

We did check JD and I like control setup, but the dealer and I always had hard time seeing eye to eye over the decades.

I miss the little mule. If only it would have had power steering.:D

I'd really wanted a B7800 but the Green was what I thought I could almost afford.:D

900 on meter almost 14 years...1 tire tube & 1 hose replace the old girl done everything I ask of her and more.

Sure like to find or who ever purchase the old girl gives her nice roof over her hood. :)

Mine had 3000 hours on it. It also had a few more repairs but most were type of usage related breakage things. Welds on the loader, a broken steering arm and a stick jammed into the hydro pedal linkage.:D

Dynamo, steering box, two seats and a bucket were the only real wear out parts for me. The bucket was sorta rebuilt with plate and new cutting edge.:D

The neighbour said I used it well!

Forgot the two wore out joystick controls.:D

My L2800 has been a great piece of equipment for the past two years. No complaints what so ever. Don't know what you have in mind to use it for but for a compact tractor which is reasonably priced I highly recommend it.
