I have a BX 1850. Does anybody know if they can handle boosting a car. That need may arise sometime and just wanted to be prepared. I do not want to damage something.

It should start a small to medium car, heck my bx battery is bigger than some Hondas and other import cars. It wouldn't hurt anything to try jumping a car, if the bx battery is not strong enough, it just won't crank the car or crank it too slowly. You could also try hooking up your cables and letting your tractor charge the car battery for a while before attempting to start the car. Just run the tractor at a higher rpm to get max output from your little alternator.

SURE will,it a basic 12 volt system.Just follow routine safety procedures ,it will work fine.

Of course it will. It's way bigger than those little emergency jumper packs people carry around in their trunks...
