if the utf meets the spec called out in your manual you are good to go. jst because both oils meet some lower spec would not automatically mean the supertech meets any higher specs not listed.

Super Tech UTF TDH - meets or exceeds MF- M1110, M1127A, M1127B, M1129A, M1141.

MF Permatran 821XL - meets or exceeds M1141, M1129, M1129A.

So I take it this means that I am ok to run the SuperTech oil with no worries of warranty hassles??

All of our MF manuals only say Permatran, not detailed break down of it. I checked a pale of Permatran, and compared it to Walmart oil (see above.) Since that is all the info I have, we have decided to run the walmart oil. 1 gallon is $7.97, and a pale is $39.97, compared to $77 for a pale of Permatran.

It will likely be ok.. but.. keep an eye on her for things like wet brakes ( if it has them.. ).. and viscosity differences.. etc.

I'm using the walmart utf in my NH 7610s with no problems.. 'course.. it meets the M2C134 spec soI didn't expect any probs either..

Thanks Chris. It does have wet brakes, so we will keep an eye on them. We are only using it to top off with, so the majority of the oil is permatran. Had an o-ring that was leaking, all fixed now. Just need to top it off.
