It sounds fine, but a couple of suggestions. Warm up the engine for five minutes at 1600 rpm (or more) before using it. Don't idle it to warm it up. The other suggestion is to kill the engine before turning the key off. Some tractors take a hit on the alternator if you turn the key off while running.
