I have my DX310 in the shop right now getting a new clutch. I talked with the owner about the slow hydraulics on the loader and 3pt. I wanted to put a bigger pump on if possible. He says that the loader only has 2.5 inch cylinders that that the pumps is proably fine. He says that my pressure is probably just low. He is going to try and adjust the pressure. Well just in conversation I tought these older tractors had low GPM. I checked around and found that it is supposed to be 9.8gpm.

The loader is very slow unless idled high (thats why clutch is gone). And if does seem to have enough juice to lift and curl the bucket at the same time. Also the 3pt is slow to react to its controls.

Do you think it is a GPM or a pressure issue. And before anyone says it I know that pressure is relative to GPM verse restriction....

I don't know anything about the DX310 but I do own a Agroplus 87. First check the filter if you haven't replaced it already. Also my 87 has a strainer that has to be removed and cleaned. If yours has the strainer that could be the problem.
Again if you haven't already done this I'd start with the filter and strainer if it has a strainer. It could be starving for hyd. oil.

If this one is like the 06 & 07 series tractor the hyd filter is located under the seat with a 3 bolt cover. There is a cartrige type filter that should be changed in the 500 to 1000 hour range. We sold them in the 70's and early 80's and a new filter can make a big diference.
