Thanks for all the ideas everyone!

Attached are some pics of the grapple I just finished for my Kioti CK35. After purchasing the tractor in July, I began researching attachments on the web, ran across this site and got inspired. I've done a few other welding projects in the past, and that skill seems to come in handy w/ tractor work.

Thanks for all the great ideas! I hope I can add value to someone else's project.

Yeah, I agree ... super good post.
Looks like you got it all working and dirty already, way to go. It's a pretty beefy grapple looks like to me. Nice reinforcements all around too. I like how you made your fel connections out of separate pieces. One thing I might add is a shield under the exposed cylinder rod in case you clamp on a rock or something that fits between your grapple jaws and those gussets. It could bend your rod if that happened.
Great post and welcome to TBN !!!

Thanks!
Yep...I've been an outside viewer for a few months now.

I took most of my ideas (as you can see) from Stowester's design w/ a few tweaks of my own.

http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/124018-my-tbn-inspired-grapple-bucket.html

I also built a 3 pt. hitch receiver hitch from some scrap I had laying around this weekend.

This site has too many ideas! I'm spending WAY too much time in the basement now!

I just made a receiver hitch also, very close to yours; did you leave a drain hole at the base of the vertical tube? I welded a grab hook to mine.

Good thought about the shield. I'll have to add that.
I also need to beef up my factory brush guard. I already had to replace a headlight!....I found it's easy to get carried away while working w/ the grapple!

Thanks for the welcome.....I hope to be able to add value to others projects as you guys have mine!
