I've been noticing for a few years now the left side only begins lifting after the right side is nearly all the way up. I'm guessing the right "driving" lift arm, shaft holes, and/or left lift arm are worn out (or the pins). Anybody else seeing this? About 700 hours of mostly mowing, and I rototil with the deck on, which I'm sure isn't helping.

On a side note, I noticed the deck is rotting through between the center spindle and the left side.. not what I'd expect on a Kubota... ?

Thanks,
- Patrick

Im surprised at the rot out. My BX [1300+hrs] sits out a lot and no rot on the mmm. Regarding the lift, I doubt its wear, but there is an adjustment on each side. Also, check out all the fastening points of the linkage. Mine did something like that when one point broke where it was welded onto the tractor frame.

Don't know about the rotting deck but the one side not lifting done that on mine and the bolt had came loose on the front of the tractor on the mowing deck assembly.

I agree with spyderlk that a noticable difference in deck lift from left to right would not be due to minor wear. The deck is either out of adjustment, or there is a mechanical failure somewhere. Also - check the double nuts on a threaded rod just inside the right rear wheel. Adjusting this changes the upper limit of deck lift. See owners manual for deck adjusting proceedure, as it varies from 48" - 54" and 60" deck models.
Best of Luck!
