Gentleman came buy today and checked out my 5240 and was impressed with the condition, size power. Unless something changes it looks like a transaction will happen sometime next week.

Having a few second thoughts as the 5240 is almost paid for and all the little extras I've put on it will be missed until I get them on the new machine... I can really use the additional power of the M59's FEL and BH.

She did clean up nice:

Really gonna miss the stereo it was quite a conversation maker...

If you don't mind me asking, what is your asking price for this? What is the lift capacity of the FEL? Looks really nice.

I was asking 29.5K with the Long elec/hyd swich. I came up with this number by using 75% of the replacement value.

Not sure off the top of my head of the lifting capicity. I can tell you that rear ballast of some sort is needed the LA854 is pretty stout. If you go to Kubota site and look around a bit you will find it..

Thanks for the compliment, I try to keep it in good shape..

Thomas, I appreciate the finger crossing, I need all the help I can get lol, and yes if it happens plenty of pictures to come...

Hey Chuck - If you go ahead with the M59 I'll bet you will be glad you did. They are rugged - all muscle. I'm assuming your fel usually stays on the 5240 - so having a removable loader isn't much of a factor in your operation. I have always been a fan of beefy tractors - the M59 sure is one - stout is a good word.
