My New BX hauler

I just scored this 16 foot heavy duty landscape trailer yesterday and I had to put the BX on it just for some pictures.

Only down side to the trailer is the previous owner removed the electric brakes so I will have to re-add them when I get a chance. Other than that the other side fender got torn off by the previous owner.

Not too bad for $300

Um, yeah, that's beyond a great deal. A new trailer like that is going to run at least $1800, maybe more.

I saw the same trailer for sale on craigslist this morning.

It was listed: 16' landscaping trailer. dual axle, 5000 lb capacity. perfect for tractors/ lanscaping or small cars. Just put in new wood floor. brand new lights and harness. tires are good, no dry rot. has electric brakes. trailer works and looks perfect. fresh paint on frame. If you have any questions or would like to see it please give me a call.... $1600

Now the trailer I bought has 3500 lb axels and a tailgate. I still can't believe I got that trailer for 300$

thats amazing, 300 buckeroos for a 16 footer! congrats. Now the work begins to put back the electric brakes on , might push the cost to same as brand new .

Nope, hubs with drums and full electric backing plates i can get them for about 130$ per axel. And then i prob rewire it up myself but that cant cost too much more.
