I seem to remember my uncle having a similar unit when I was very young (80's). I was thinking about it the other day and thought it was a kubota model and perhaps diesel. Makes my troy bilt horse look like a garden claw

Unless I'm seeing something different, that's a Yanmar tiller...even has the YM-model designation typical of Yanmar. So it's mis-labeled. But there is indeed a Shibaura tiller, see the video link below.

It's a Yanmar. That little picture links to this big one.

Can you imagine manhandling that thing in two feet of muck? In Hawaii I watched a farmer run an 18 inch tiller in a paddy, up to his knees in water, and I doubt many of us could do his job. They must hire Sumo wrestlers to run these big Yanmars.

Are theyre any attachments for these like you'd find on a BCS? Or is the tiller section permanently attached? They look pretty able.
