Backhoe operators move and re-position the tractor with the BH. Lifting the rear of the tractor with the hoe is more difficult with the additional weight of the loaded tires and restricts the "gymnastics" that can be accomplished.
I think you have hit the nail on the head.
I know my dealer recommended strongly against loading the tires and I could not understand why, but now it all comes clear.
The more time I have on the machine, the more comfortable I am with moving the rear end around with the hoe.
