Chris is right, a seal is a seal. Just remove the old one and match it up. But I'm having a hard time seeing a "bush hog" there. Are you sure that's not an old finish mower?I have a bush hog type mower
Blades that are sharpened on opposing edges like a lawn mower are used on finishing mowers. Rotary cutter (bush hog) blades are edged on one end, and pivoted on the other. They are typically attached to a rotating disc in opposing pairs. Thanks, It maybe a finishing mower (how do I determine that?)
There were no markings on the boxes I could find yet. I need to take a wire brush to it. It looks like it is a bush hog type mower. It has four short blades that swivel and attach to 2 discs.
Thanks FMJ, I will see if i can match it to any of that brand. It is a 175 Massey. It's not the pretties thing right now but the diesel engine is strong and she runs through her gears and the hydraulics with no problems. I do have quite a bit of time that i will need to put into her.
