MF 1635 12x12 Powershuttle
Hi,

We need a little help determining what lines are what on our 1523 hydro. On the right side of the trans case, we have 3 lines, one is capped, and 2 are looped. We are attempting to hook up a controller, once we purchase it.

We need to know what the capped line is, is it return to tank on the controller, and are the other 2 lines that are hooked together called Power Beyond lines, and if so, where do they go on the controller.

I cannot find the info anywhere on agcopartsbooks online, or in my manuals.

KennyD has helped a lot in the linked thread.

If anyone who works at a dealer or has access to manuals that we do not have, all help is greatly appreciated.

The capped line is for return oil to the tank. The looped line comes from the pump and eventually feeds the three point. If you add another valve, remove the loop line. The oil coming from the pump gets connected to the pressure side of the new valve. The oil from the power beyond port on the new valve gets connected to the line going to the three point. The return from the new valve get connected to the capped of line. If your new valve does not have a power beyond port, connect the return line to the line going to the three point and leave the capped off line to tank alone. The advantage of a power beyond port is that when you raise the three point, back pressure from the three point will not reach the new valve.

Speaking about hydraulic lines and the 3 point hitch, I recently replaced the loader valve on my GC2300 and feel sure that I replaced all of the lines as they were supposed to be replaced. While the FEL works great, the 3 point system only quivers when I go to raise it.
Is it possible that I have one of the lines crossed or is the new loader valve the culprit?

It's a Brand loader valve from Northern Tool.

Well, you can disregard my previous question. After careful examination of the hose routing configuration, it was discovered that my wife swapped one of the hoses. After correcting her mistake, everything works fine now. (hey, you didn't expect me to take the blame myself did you? lol)

Glad you got it fixed, because deadheading the pump is not a good thing.

Maybe your wife owes you a treat for the little mix up... :) cough cough, I did say your wife, correct?? :)

I'm just thinking about how much money I saved by doing the work myself. :)
Also, I am thankful for TractorByNet and its members who have a wealth of knowledge.
