Seat upgrade

Challenger tractor seat is really basic and my back is feeling it.

Can anyone suggest a seat upgrade with a nice suspension, armrests & highback/headrest?

Need to keep it on the smaller more compact size so it'll fit.

I went from the "basic lawnmower style" seat on my JD to one similar to the one from Northern Tool Northern Industrial Polyurethane Cushioned Tractor Seat | Seats | Northern Tool + Equipment

Has held up really well for 1 yr so far. I had to fab up a new mounting bracket but wasn't too hard. The up and down motion really has helped my back!!!! Ebay has a ton of them for sale

I'm lookin to go even higher end. Air ride or at least a good suspension, high back, armrests, cloth, lumbar, etc.

When I bought my 3215 Mahindra, the first thing that I asked the dealer to do was to change out the stock spring seat and to install a 7520 suspension seat. It is great to have the same seat on both my bigger and smaller tractors.

My point being that the std suspension seat off of the big tractor fits great on my smaller tractor. I doubt that you will have much trouble with any seat as long as it is intended to be used on a tractor.

jjmarotz: What size Deere is that? Did that suspension seat sit you up much higher than the stock seat did? I've been thinking of getting one of those for my 2320, but wondered about the potential height difference.

My Deere is a 3203, the seat sits you up maybe 1" higher if that. Was the best mod I have done to date!!!!!

Builder... that seat is sweeeeet, hope you have the room to mount that in, sure would be a nice setup.

The problem with that seat is I think the suspension base is too high. I will need a lower profile suspension for it.

Builder as you probably remember I take care of a law mowing businesses equipment. They run 37 HP Kawasaki Ferris 3100 series mowers. Anyway these ZTR's have a great suspension and suspension seat that is adjustable to the operators body weight. They are simply amazing, can mow 7 acres a hour so they have to be to run those speeds. Take a look at the Ferris site and look at the 3100 and see if it will work. I am thinking the same thing as you for my Jinma 28 Hp tractor but have not gotten around to it.
