What could i use this for?

Gosh I wish I had a tank like that. I'm wanting a tank I can fill with gasoline and then hook an air compressor hose to it when I need to pressurize the tank at a low pressure to force gas up thru a hose to put gas in the tractor or 4 wheeler. I'm tired of spilling gas with these cheap plastic gas jugs. I need a tank that will hold about 20 to 30 gallons and be able to handle about 5 psi of air pressure.

Cut me a piece (Band) about 6" wide that I can fab into a Stump Grinder guard! You could dice it up for a bunch of trailer fenders! Now ya got me thinking! Any one know of the "SAFE" way to cut an old 20# propane tank, to accomplish that guard? ~"Scotty"

Build a Bar-B-Que grill and enjoy. I have heard you can empty the propane tank, wash it out with water and cut it with a torch as propane don't leave any resdue only the smell which is harmless. Their not like gas tanks.

That air tank is going to have a lot of rust flakes inside. I don't think it would make a very good fuel tank.

I made a sprayer out of a propane tank. You could do the same with the air tank. Run a spray hose from your drain port. Fill the tank about halfway with your chosen ag chemical and then pressure it up with air as high as you want.

It's amazing how fun it is to kill weeds with 100 PSI roundup.

Not a good idea, as glyphosate and metal are not a good combination. Here's a quote:
"Do not expose glyphosate to galvanized metal or unlined steel tanks as explosive
gas may result."

I had heard about the glyphosate and metal issue, but I thought it was just that the glyphosate would corrode the metal. "Explosive gas" sounds a little more exciting that what I want to deal with.

Anyone have any good ideas what to do with a good old propane tank with two holes in the top of it that doesn't involve roundup?? :)
