I have the 853 loader with quick attach on the 5030 I just picked up same as my 4330 had. when I back drag the bucket falls off. I looked at the QA pins and to me it looks as though maybe 2 nuts are missing to hold pressure on the springs.
Does anybody know of a blown up photo so i can see if any parts are missing off the QA levers ? .Thanks

Don't know if these will help or not. Had a problem with my new L3240. Couldn't get bucket back on because lower pin would not go in bucket bracket. The cross arm was twisted and had to take it back to dealer for replacement. Is yours hooking back together correctly under bucket lip and then pins all they way down in slot?

The pins should not be able to rise enuf to clear the bucket slots when the levers are down. There should be a positive stop. Im guessing an adjustable nut on the rod inside the spring coils. Or if not, maybe shim the springs with a washer or 2 so the pins would have to compress them past solid to escape the slots.

Thanks for the pictures guys, mine looks the same. I was kind of thinking what Spyderlk is saying. The springs are compressing enough to let the pins come out. I will check to see if it does it with other attachments. If it does I will try to shim the springs.. I find it weird it didn't do it on my 4330, It is the same bucket and it has 850 hard hrs on it.

I put a nut between the spring and the block to put more pressure on the spring and it seems to work so far...

The springs are not what keeps the pins down! There are blocks welded to the frame above the pin. Make sure that they latch all the way. The pin must be under the stop when the bucket is installed.

I agree theres gotta be a positive stop on pin rise when the levers are down. I just dont see evidence of it in the pictures. Could you describe what you are talking about while referring to the pictures?
Thanks,

I see the blocks you are talking about on cap-n-cray's picture but mine does not have them. Not sure if my 4330 had them. That could be the problem..or maybe the larger machines do not have them. I would think they should..
