Same thing goes for R4s and turfs.
I have 2 tractors with AGs and one with turfs.
The one with turfs isn't any easier on the yard than the other 2 and the traction is not as good.

How is the ride from R1's to turfs?? Turfs ride great. You could not pay me to take another set of R4's again. They are a back killer. R1's are on the list though...

I use to have a JD X485 and used Fantastic to clean the yellow seat. I also used a prodcut called Spray Nine which was for marine vinyl (used to have a boat). Both the fantastic and Spray Nine worked very well, but I don't recall any heavy, gooie substance that I needed to remove. Anyway, try Fantastic or any good quality vinyl cleaner to start.

Put another seat cover over it.

Or try vinyl cleaner.
