So, I am so confused... You are getting a 1445? 1850? 1845? 180? You just don't know and are going to try them all?

1845 and 1850 are the two candidates. 180?!! WHAT THE HECK YOU THINKING CARL?!! Well I may get a 180 later on for my own property needs (Mowing and Snow Removal, yard needs to be redone).
We may get a 1850 since you guys were talking about how much more machine you get for only $1,000. I'm trying to convince my dad that but he's not sure. Well once he sees his Power-Trac Brochure and DVD he'll be convinced. I think were better off with the 1850. But when we got to Tazewell we'll have to compare the 1845 and 1850

I'm really adaptive to new tractors.

Yeah, that's what most of us said, too... before we put holes in the sides of our garages, drove off of loading docks, drove through the wife's flower bed or ran over our own feet! :p

Trust me when I say leave it to the official test pilot, Hans! :D

I really don't see they can be so hard to drive for the first time. I don't.
But I'll probably be proved wrong when I try one. Plus, I think a Slope Mower could tip forward, but it would probably be a lot harder to do.
Remember, Moss, were getting a Slope Mower, not a 425 (thought the 425 is a nice one). A Slope mower has the Heavier Deutz Diesel.

I know its their different but I have driven articulated front seated tractors.
You familiar with Holder? Nice tractors.

BTW: Moss this is off topic; You remind me of Bill from the Red Green show from the way you look.

I have done the PT pucker with the 1850. I believe Carl has as well. All it takes is a overloaded front bucket/forks, some slope, and a turn. But so much nicer than passing the center of gravity in a CUT!!!

What were you carrying and how many lbs was it, Ken?

Like I said, you could do that, but it's probably not as easy as say a 425.
Agreed with the part about a CUT.
Probably a lot better than almost rolling over a John Deere 5310!

Thanks for the compliment... that's not me in the pictures! :D:D:D:D

I believe that's Hans (flying) and Charlie (collecting data).

Well, a PT425 with operator weighs in around 1600 pounds. It has a lift capacity of 800 pounds, or about half its own weight.

A PT1850 weighs 4000 with operator and has a lift capacity of 1200, a tad less than a third of its weight.

So, its probably easier to nose stand the larger tractor. ;)

No, I've seen a few pictures of you on your website with your 425.
Just brought it up at the wrong time.
