 Anyone had this happen. I had taken off my loader and backhoe to mow with the belly deck. Noticed that the hydraulics wouldn't raise or lower the deck, it was dropped in the lower position. Figured I would call the dealer when they opened and see if something was out of adjustment. Mowed a bit and suddenly hydraulic fluid starts pouring out the left side. Looks like a line blew and possibly melted at a connection. Less than 10 hours on it. Anyone had any problems like this or any idea what happened?

I would not operate the unit anymore until you find out exactly what happened. It sounds like excessive pressure. I would start by getting your owners manual for the tractor, loader and back hoe and reviewing hydraulic line connection or re-routing when removing the loader and back hoe to use the mower or 3pt equipment.

? when you took the BH off did you connect the 2 lines together for the return line. If you didn't the 3pt will not lift. Also you are dead heading the hyd pump. It shouldn't have blown a hose but it could have shown a weak spot with full pressure from the blocked hose.

No, I didn't connect the two hoses. I should have read the manuals closer. Talked to the dealer today and figured out that was what I had done. He said it shouldn't have hurt the pump and he would cover fixing the hose and replacing the fluid since he had forgot to go over that part with me. I wouldn't have thought the hose would blow, but seemed like it came out of the fitting where it connected. Hopefully no damage to anything was done. Im keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for the assistance.

Good/honest dealer, stick with them! That was one of the first things my dealer cautioned me about when removing BH.
