Tractor Sizing Backhoe size for DF254G2

I'm doing my homework for my future purchase of a DF254G2 with Z390 1,8 litre 25 hp engine.

When it comes to backhoe size/weight for this tractor, what is the limit? Its a 3 point setup.

A Italien brand backhoe witch i'm interested in has two different types/models.

Type 1: Model light use Hp 30/40 Weight with bucket 800 lbs
Type 2: Model heavy use HP 30/40 Weight with bucket 1181 Lbs

Both of them have the same reach and digging depth, the heavy type has side-shift frame width 4,6' light 3,6' Both come with PTO pump and hyd.oil tank. Light 160 Bar-2,9 gallon/min Heavy 180 Bar 4,2 gallon/min

Is the Type 2 to "big" for the DF? I have noticed that the China brand LW6 for this tractor weights about 1100-1300 lbs.

Hi I have DF354 with the Townsunny BK6N (see link). It is the smaller of the TS BH's. Excellent Chineese BH designed after the earlier Kubota ones. Your DF25G2 only has a 3pt lift spec' d at 933lbs. I would not think your #2 choice would be ok because of the weight. I believe your DF has 2 sets of rear remotes as my 354 does . I run my BH directly from the tractor hydraulics with no problems at all. It is a very easy hookup. The DF's have a common reservoir for transmission and hydraulic so supply for running your BH should not be an issue. You may save a little money by going with one that does not need a separate PTO pump and reservoir. The Townsunny BH's are a lot better than other Chineese BH's namely the LW6/7 from what most guys are saying.

Depending on your use, a better Korean one may be good, if it is lighter use you may consider the TS BH's as a good alternative if you have access to them.

Lift weight of the 3PH is a factor with the 3PH mount. Stress on the mount is another issue. Depending on how much you use it, I would reccomend a sub frame mount of some sort. When digging and ripping, there is a LOT of stress at the point where the backhoe meets the tractor. IMO, the more you can spread that force out(to the rest of the tractor via a subframe), the better...

Yes i will fabricate a sub frame in the future but i will use it with 3 point until then though.

TTTTTT: Thank you for your reply, ive been looking at a Korean brand LITW also but then i have to import it my self with customs and all the other stuff that comes with self import.
Here in Europe it seems like all brand backhoes comes with PTO pump standard so no money saving there

You guys a probably right about the weight, will look for maximum 800 lbs Backhoe.

Just strange that the Lw6 weights about 1100-1300lbs whom are made for this tractors.
