   / Fuel Addative #21
got a bottle in my paws it's diesel fuel supplement + cetane boost. so for all of those interested as stated before the 911 is for ungelling an already gelled fuel supply. this product helps prevent it from happening.

Adding some biodiesel is the cheapest way to add lubricity if you have access to it. What you are buying is fuel so it really is not costing you much to add it. It did not take much - 5% if i remember correctly.

+1 for bio diesel (assuming you can find it).. Here is a link to a lubricity study.. Quite interesting.. The biggest problem with the study is that I can't find many of the lubricants in my area. Also the Power Service in the study is NOT the white bottle most of us use, but the silver bottle. I have been adding 2 Cycle marine oil to my dodge/cummins for lubricity for about 6 mths.. During the winter I will add Power Service white bottle for anti-gel.

here is links to the Power Service website - By what they are saying on the website the white bottle is mainly for anti-gel, the silver if for lubricity. I was using the wrong PS product for lubricity it seems.

Power Service - silver bottle Power Service Products, diesel fuel additives, prevent gelling, clean injectors, disperse water, boost cetane, reduce emissions, improve fuel economy

Power Service - white bottle Power Service Products, diesel fuel additives, prevent gelling, clean injectors, disperse water, boost cetane, reduce emissions, improve fuel economy

That last link is PRICELESS. If true it seems like carrying around a couple of gallons of biodiesel might be best.

Is Bio that hard for some of you to find?

Here about half the stations already have 2-15% Bio already blended in.

The off road we have delivered has 5%

Bio; I find it hard to grasp that it has any lubricity properties at all. I mean, it's veggy oil right ?

But if you guys say so......
