Sorry Dave, didn't know about closing on Mondays. Must be nice.
I didn't expect to get a quote, and I didn't know you couldn't give a price over the Internet. I recently saw a Bobcat dealer give a price on this same site. (Kioti Buying/Pricing)
All I wanted was someone to give me a ballpark figure. And by the way, I have researched so many tractors already that I'm getting a little impatient on how to get something as simple as a price, from someone. I've already went through all the Kubota B's, L's, GL's, and even some M's; but I've now turned my attention to Kioti.
I got prices for CK30 through the DK40SE; but once I got home, and pulled up Kioti.com, I found that I might be interested in the DK45S, or DK55. When I called the dealer back, more than once, I couldn't seem to get a quote on these two models. Not even a ballpark. That said; I thought I'd simply ask someone on this site for a BALLPARK FIGURE; which I'm sure you read, due to the sound of your post.
Once I saw I might be interest in these two models I wanted a price; but like all the other models, I've researched, no one seemed up to the task. It just so happened that I finally got a price, from my closest dealer, just before I read your post. That was the reason I pulled up the site at this time. In order to tell everyone not to bother with my small problem any longer, and list my quote in case someone else is having the same problem.
I lost quite a bit of sleep, because I work graveyard, but I finally got my answer. It's a crying shame that a man can't simply tell someone what he wants for something he's trying to sell. We've completely lost our way!
Just in case someone wants to know - Here's some prices in Tennessee.
1 CK30 14,200 - HST 15,200 (FREE LOADER)
2 CK35 15,000 - HST 15,985 (FREE LOADER)
3 DK35SE 16,200 - HST 17,500 (FREE LOADER)
4 DK40SE 18,000 - HST 18,900 (FREE LOADER)
5 DK45S 22,200 - WITH KL451 LOADER (ANOTHER 6,000 FOR KB2485)
6 DK55 26,500 - WITH KL551 LOADER (KB2485 BH., SAME PRICE)
KUBOTA
1 B2920HST FEL & BH. WITH THUMB - $20,200
2 B3200HST FEL & BH. (WAS FINALLY TOLD 3,000 MORE - so 23,200)
3
L3400 17,500 - HST 18,700 (WITH LOADER) BH75A - 7,000 MORE
4
L4400 - I was given the: "If you don't know what you want; I can't give you a price, but your looking at around $30,000." Which means he's really needing to push that
L3400, before he loses his job. (This ballpark price was with FEL and a BH 90) SSQA was $450 more for both 3400 & 4400.
5
L3240 SST FEL & BH - 27,500
6
L3940 GST FEL & BH - 32,000 (This is the price in Kingsport. The other dealer told me that I was getting carried away, but if I wanted he could put me on a
M59 for 50,000. then he continued to push the
L3400.)
Now, the Kioti dealer tells me that he has a DS4510 (45HP) that comes with a KL402 loader; which takes it into the free loader zone. Heres the price:
DS4510 45HP - KL 402 FEL (This is a new model loader) - $16,500. Add the KB2485 with 12" Bucket for another $6,000. He said he was putting a few together today, and they should be ready by Friday. I'll be there to see one.
And finally; if any dealer is afraid to give me a price; or any manufacturer, such as Kioti, Kubota, or Bobcat won't place their prices on their Web Site - then I tend to believe they are too high in their asking price.
I recently saw a post where a man was begging for a ballpark price. He could'nt get it from the source he chose, but a Bobcat dealer stepped up and laid it right out. This impressed me to the point that I checked his Web site. The prices for all his tractors were right there for the whole world to see. And guess what! The tractor that he quoted to that man had a sold tag on it within the next few days. I'm sure I know who bought that tractor.
If Kioti wants to sell me a tractor; they have to let me know what they want for it. It's just that simple! I think that's the jest of the problem.
