Pics of the new toy

My yard is 4 acres of course that includes a house, 100'x60' barn, grain bin, garage and drive so maybe I only actually mow 3 acres but it only takes me 1.5 hours. I have a ZTR that I use around all the buildings and trees. We have probably 60 trees or so.

I would think if most of yours is open, you could do a lot better that 5.5 hours. I guess that also depends on how rough your ground is. You wouldn't be able to stay on the tractor at a very high speed if it was rough.

Best I can manage with my 650 is about 5 mph. I think the 230 would be alot more stable at higher speeds due to the extra 2000 lbs and added wheel base. I do some triming and I mow back and forth so that eats up time. Tried out a ZD321 with a 60" deck last weekend but I still like versitility of a tractor and can't aford both.

That is a fairly heavy compact. How did it transport? What size trailer is that on?

cool, my mom had a 65' vert with the 390....i was 4 years old at the time...I still remember her hub cap flying off the car when she went around corners!.....mama drove that 500!

I do, I have a '66 2dr 428. I just don't have any pics here at work. I will try to remember to post something this weekend.

I think the specs on the tractor said it weighs just a little over 3k and I don't know what the loader adds to it. That is my neighbors trailer and it is very heavy so it transported good, hardly knew it was back there except for when taking off. I could hear the turbo whine a little more than normal. I don't know much about the trailer other than it is very heavy duty.

No it is not a pistol range, my shooting range is on the other side of the barn. I have a dirt pile I shoot into and have have right at about 200 yrds to shoot. It comes in nice for sighting in rifles!
