Which finish mower do you guys think is a better buy?

The Bush Hog is a well respected brand but then so is the Maschio. Bush Hog is (?was) made in Alabama while the Maschio is Italian. While that might influence availability of parts, consider also that Bush Hog appears to be in trouble as a business.

You don't state the age of either mower. Unless the Bush Hog was in better shape/newer, I'd personally save the $200 and go with the Maschio. I love Bush Hog but don't see any advantage here.

I run the same Bush Hog mower you are looking at...Also have a Bush Hog Rotary Model 12 mower.

I would never own anything BUT Bush Hog

I have not gotten the age on either one yet, but the Bush Hog does look to be newer and in better shape, although they both look like they are in good shape.
